Family Update (July-August)

7-PEAKS with GRANDMA and GRANDPA
Hayden and Grandpa at the Kiddie Pool:
Daddy and Grandpa took Hayden off the BIG SLIDES (and he LOVED it!),
while the girls stayed at the umbrella.
Grandma and Baby Jocelyn.

CHUCK E CHEESE
It was grandpa and grandma's last night with the grandkids, so we went to Chuck E Cheese, where a kid can be a kid.
Grandpa, Hayden, Grandma, and Jocelyn

As you can tell it's a place where Big Kids can be a kid too:
Daddy, Grandpa, and Hayden

SPLASH PAD
A couple of days after family left, Hayden started to get stir crazy. So we went to the Splash Pad Park near our new house. We even went with our new, nice neighbors.

MR. POTATO HEAD
Daddy was out of town again, so it was time for a new distraction.
We found a Mr. Potato Head at Costco and it was the perfect entertainment.
Jocelyn didn't enjoy it as much:
But at least she didn't complain.

When daddy returned, he made sure the kids got plenty of Daddy Time:

Hayden, Daddy, and Jocelyn on Sunday, August 14.

Hayden Update (June-July)

Quick Update of Hayden
(the last couple of weeks as the only child)

CARS 2
We took Hayden to his first theater movie.

He actually did better than mommy. He watched the whole movie without complaining or fidgeting (can't say the same for me with my 8 mo. pregnant belly).

SWIMMING
We spent a lot of time at 7-peaks,
knowing that when baby sister came we would have little chance of coming.
Hayden and Jarom enjoying a little snack.

DUCK POND and PARK
Hayden loves to the feed the ducks...
...He also loves bread (at least he shares).

4TH of JULY
It was our first 4th in Provo
(in our 6 years of living here, it was the first time we didn't travel or camp).
The festivities started with HOT AIR BALLOONS.

4th of JULY PARADE:

Hayden loves a good parade, as long as he can't hear the screeching sirens.

DRESS-UP
While packing our home, we discovered some treasure...
...we found costumes for Woody, Thomas the Train, and a Rocket ship.

JAMIE'S WEDDING
Even though Hayden and I didn't get to go (it was too close to my due date),
it needs to be put in the update.
Luke and Jamie were married on Friday, July 8th.

Brian was able to go and represent our family.
Ashley, Charlize, Nick, Mom, Colt, Addie, Brian, Jamie, Luke, David (behind Luke), Shirsten, Tina (behind Dad's head), Dad.

Congratulations Luke and Jamie!
Sorry we couldn't all be there.
