SO BIG!

Hayden had his Dr. appointment yesterday.
Here are his 1 year Specs:
Weight: 20 lbs, (12%)
Height: 30 inches, (60%)
Head Circumference: 18 inches, (45%)

Compared to his Birth Specs:
Weight: 6 lbs 11 oz, (11%)
Height: 19 inches, (20%)
Head Circumference: 13 inches (12%)

As you can tell his weight has been consistent,
but his height and head are Movin' On Up!
He's such a BIG BOY!

Ryan came over this morning while his mom worked-out

Birthday Party Picts

Hayden has had such a blast (and probably a tummy ache) over the last couple of days, as he has celebrated his birthday in many different ways!

He celebrated his birthday with the Wissingers on Friday at Leatherby's.
The waiter, with friends, sang "Happy Birthday" and gave him some ice cream with a candle in it. He cried when I blew out the candle's flame (He's such a Boy, a Dramatic Boy).
---------------------------------------------------------

"Great Grandpa and Grandma Warren visited Utah this weekend for a mission homecoming,

they gave me a great big ball for my birthday, SCORE!"
----------------------------------------------

Tonight, he celebrated his birthday again with
Aunt Ashley, Uncle Nick, Aunt Megan, and Uncle Blake.

Here are some pictures from the little celebration:

The KING of the day!

Hayden got another book from his favorite series, "How Do Dinosaurs..."

What it is going to be Mr. Hayden Bo-Bayden?
"I don't know, let me see. I will use my best sense to solve this case."

It's a cute golfer hat!
"I'm so excited. Does this mean I can go golfing with Pops this summer?"

Hayden also got a Diaper Pail.
It was the most interesting present of the night. Hayden couldn't keep his hands off it.

"Is this how the diaper pail works?"

A view of the lively birthday party.
Don't worry we have cake and ice cream to PUMP-UP the party's sugar level.

Hayden's first birthday cake.

This sure is YUMMY!

YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY!

Uh...Hayden,
you have a little something right there.

OH!
YOU HAVE A LOT.
YOU'RE SUCH A LITTLE MONSTER!

(if you click on the picture above,
and look at Hayden's top, right gum (your left)
you can see his first tooth coming in)

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY
HAYDEN BO-BAYDEN!

The Big Numeral 1

Can you believe it? Handsome Hayden Bo-Bayden is a year old.

Here are 12 things the 12 month old LOVES
(in no specific order):

1. Bath Time
(Hayden's trying to drink the water, Silly Boy!)

2. Fruit
(Bananas, Strawberries, Clementines, Mandarin Oranges, Pineapple, Apples, Pears, Peaches...)

3. Daddy's Big Truck
"Whenever Daddy drives the Big Truck, I cry at the window until he comes and takes me out. I love to pretend drive the truck. While the truck warms-up, I get to move the steering wheel and shake the gear shifter. It is always the highlight of my day!"

4. Blankie
Hayden will shove a corner of his Blankie into his mouth at nap and bed time and almost instantly fall asleep.

5. Huffy the Puppy
Hayden loves ALL dogs.
But Huffy is super special to Hayden cause he's his best bud.
They sleep in the same crib and love to wrestle.

6. Watching Baby Einstein
Whenever Baby Einstein is playing, Hayden is glued to the television. He is either sitting on the ground, looking up; sitting with mom on the recliner, getting cuddles; or leaning on the ottoman, for parallel viewing.

7. Balls
Hayden can't live without balls. He always has one in his hand no matter what. His favorite ball activity is fetch (by himself).

8. Playdates
Here is a picture of Hayden with his 2nd cousins.
Hayden loves to play with other children. I especially like when he plays with older children cause Hayden likes to play rough (what can I say, he's a Quigley).

9. Hide & Seek
And/Or
Peek-a-Boo

10. Walking to the BIG CAR to get In and Out, In and Out...

11. Shaking his Head "NO"

12. Drinking from a Straw

Here are some Dislikes of Hayden's:
1. Lotion

2. Bed Time when Company is Visiting

3. Vegetables (except Carrots)

4. Getting Dressed

5. When Daddy Teases him with a Toy

6. The Time it takes to Tie a Shoe

NEW TRICKS

Here are a couple New Hayden Tricks for your enjoyment!

WALKING:

Hayden has been walking around furniture for several months. During Christmas, at Nana's house, he decided to start walking without holding on. Since then he has improved greatly (as you can see)!

PLAYING WITH CARS (VROOM-VROOM):

Grandma got Hayden the little Tonka Trucks for Christmas and Nana got him his BIG (sit-in) car for his birthday. Since then we have been playing cars, cars, cars; and Hayden picked-up on a car sound. Isn't he a cutie?

P.S. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Christmas Break, Part 1

CHRISTMAS BREAK, PART 1:
LEADING-UP TO THE BIG DAY

We went to Washington for Christmas
to visit Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, and Pops.

December 19, 2009
"First things first,
I visited the Big Guy in the Red Suit
to make sure he knew that I was staying at Grandma's house."

"The Big Guy knew how to keep my attention while I waited in the long lines.
(He's pretty popular just before Christmas)."

"My first time with Santa Claus."

December 23, 2009
While in Washington we went to an
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party.

It was lots of fun!

And there were plenty of laughs!
(Top Row: Uncle Jon, Aunt Cherri, Uncle Keith.
Bottom Row: Ken (Pops), Karen (Nana), Jessica, Hayden, Brian, Paul, Grant, Aunt Teresa, David, Clarke, and Brandon.)

"Nanna still loved me, even though I was wearing an old man, itchy, ugly, dog sweater.
And I especially loved her, because she had toys on her neck and side for me to play with (she is always so thoughtful)."

"It was a very eventful night. After the Ugly Sweater Party, Grandpa gave me an early Christmas present (he couldn't stand the suspense, sometimes I think I act older than him)."

I got my First Rocking Horse.

It was just the perfect size!

Thank you Grandpa, it was the most thoughtful gift.

Giddy-up Cowboys!

December 24, 2009
The WHOLE family (Quigleys, Warrens, and Wrights)
joined together for a Christmas Eve Party.

"What?! I get to open a present NOW, on Christmas Eve!? How Exciting!!"

"I got my Christmas Eve pjs (I'm a reindeer) and a Christmas book.
Thanks mom and dad, you're the best parents in the whole, wide world."

December 25, 2009
Christmas Day!
Hayden got a new Stroller and a Big Boy Car Seat from Santa.
"I'm still too tired to smile, give me a few minutes to finish waking-up."

"I found lots and lots of balls in my stocking.
How did the Big Guy know?"

"1 of 6 trucks Grandma got me.
(Though, I don't know if she got them for me or for my dad?)"

I did take pictures of other family members besides Hayden, but I feel like this Christmas was especially for him. Therefore he is featured more than anyone else. Plus I don't think the girls will mind if their no make-up, pj pictures don't make it to the internet :)

Christmas Damage at Grandma and Grandpa's was done...

...And the damage was about to begin at Nana and Pops'...

...But first we had to talk to a very important man that
lives far, far away, and who brings happiness to all.
No, It wasn't Santa; it was Uncle, Elder Kyle Quigley.
(Merry Christmas Elder Quigley!)

"Dad, are all those presents for me?"

Hayden got a little antsy, while we talked to Elder Quigley...
...So Nana gave him a big Christmas present to keep him entertained.

And it did it's job; it's still doing it's job today.
(Good little toy!)

Brian got a new club!
BIG SURPRISE :)

Hayden enjoying some of his Christmas loot.

Pictures of Fun and Family During Christmas Break

Grandpa is the connoisseur of breakfast. Practically everyday we enjoyed a morning feast, prepared by grandpa; and on this day, Hayden was his helper.

Nick enjoying his new Wii and a little Guitar Hero.
Hayden's face tells it all, "Crazy Uncle Nick!".

"Ok, maybe Uncle Nick wasn't so crazy, this is a fun game."
(Jamie's concentrated look.)
Don't worry, Hayden's got the orange button.

A little bit more fun with Aunt Jamie.

"And A Lot More Fun with my first (of many) candy canes.
(Grandma snuck them when Mom wasn't looking.)"
