What's New Hayden Bo-Bayden?

Hayden's Been Up to No Good.
The older he gets the more he grows and the more he learns.

Hayden is rolling a TON now.
He can roll from his belly to his back quite quickly. He hates tummy time and he has learned that if he rolls quickly onto his back then he doesn't have to do as much tummy time. But then Mean Ol' Mom comes along and puts him back on his tummy, he throws a fit but then rolls again (Little Smart Aleck, Just Like His Dad).  Tummy time has turned into rolling time.

He can also roll from his back to his belly. He usually does this at night. Rolling from his back to his belly (while sleeping) has been super annoying because it wakes him. He has not had a good night's sleep in 2 days. Hopefully he'll get over the night practices soon because both him and I need a good night's sleep.

New Clothes!
Hayden can now fit into his 3-6 month clothing. He is still wearing his 0-3 month clothes also, so he has twice the wardrobe. It's fun to dress him in new, cute, summer clothes (if only the weather would cooperate now).

Size 2
Hayden is growing so fast, TOO Fast. He has moved up to Size 2 in Diapers.
(Wow! Hopefully that BIG NOGGIN of his reflects how SMART he'll be!)

BATH TIME
Hayden is loving the bath. I took out the newborn netting about a week ago and now I can't stop him from having a good time. He splashes so much that I moved his bathtub into our big bathtub. He usually plays in the bath for at least 15 minutes.
I can't wait to go swimming this summer!

Not "Pigs in a Blanket", But "Thumb in a Blanket"!
Hayden LOVES his thumb, he has been sucking it for at least 3 weeks. But lately he has been wrapping it in his bibs, burp rags, blankets, clothes (any fabric he can get his hands on) and then sticking it in his mouth. At first I thought that the fabric was getting caught in his finger so I would pull the cloth out of the way, but as I started to really watch I noticed that he wanted the fabric. He is such a smart (and weird) little boy.
Brian says that Hayden needs more 'Fiber' in his diet :)!

Party Animal

Our little family went over to Nick and Ashley's for Sunday Dinner.
After dinner we played games. Hayden had a great time, he loves social environments and being the center of attention.

Hayden Break Dancing with Uncle Nick
(I'm Ok with this as long as Nick doesn't teach him the Michael Jackson "private grab"!)

Hayden had a fun time while we were playing "Nerts".
We get pretty loud while playing this game. I think he wanted to join the action. He wouldn't stop talking, so I got a little clip of it.
He's getting pretty good at entertaining himself, as long as he thinks he's part of the crowd (He's a Little Social Caterpillar). I have to put him on his back (so he can see) and close to everyone and then he just does his thing. It's great for me and plus it's cute.

Hayden kinda playing with his toy.
I put a toy in his hand, but I don't think he realized he had it.
Oh well, the clip is fun anyways!

Hayden's Three Month Celebration

Hayden celebrated his 3 month birthday on Friday, April 17th.

His celebration started with a little TV time...

Watching Trivial Pursuit
(hopefully he's learning something)

"Hello Everyone!"

"Do I have to take a bath? I want to watch TV ALL day!"

After watching TV, we went for a walk on the golf course.
Dad and Uncle Nick played, while Aunt Ashley, Mom, and me walked.

Well... I really didn't WALK.

And I'm glad I didn't because I needed a little snooze.
(Golf takes a long time, especially when Dad and Uncle Nick lose balls in the water).

Hayden's First Easter

We celebrated Easter out at the Sand Dunes with the Wissinger Family. We has such great weather and it was fun to be outdoors again. Hayden loves camping and I love being out of the house.
Here are some Easter/Camping pictures:

Brian, Jessica, and Hayden getting ready to roll Easter Eggs down the dunes.

Hayden's Easter Bunny Presents (Swimsuit, Sunscreen, and Floatie).

Gavin and Shirsten
Gavin is Hayden's new Best Bud (he can make him smile at any given time in less than half a second) and Shirsten is a wonderful camping babysitter (she doesn't even mind when Hayden throws-up all over her shirt and hair).

Aunt Tina (holding Hayden) and Brian hanging out in the Wissinger's RV while it rains.

Hayden and I enjoying the company of camping.

First Times

These last couple of weeks have been crazy, but fun.
A lot of things have happened and changed. There have been a lot of "first times" for Hayden.
Here are just a few:

Hayden Sleeps in Crib
We finally decided to move Hayden to his own room. He has slept in his crib successfully since Monday, March 30th.

Hayden's First Night in his Own Bed

First Haircut
While Aunt Jamie was visiting she had her hair done. I took Hayden with and had Tami (Brian's cousin) trim his mullet. Hayden received his first hair cut on Tuesday, March 31st.

BEFORE
(If you look close you can see his wispy hair sticking out at his neck. It's at least 1 1/2 inches long.)

AFTER
(The mullet is trimmed and gone.)

Camping
Brian, Hayden, and I went camping in our new trailer for the first time. It was Hayden's very first camping trip. Uncle Brandon and Uncle Kyle came along. We had such a great time enjoying the outdoors and nice weather.

Our Camping Group:
Uncle Dave, David, Brian, Kyle, Aunt Tina holding Hayden, Hercules, Gavin's Helmet, and Jessica.

(He's a crazy dude on that bike, watch out for him!)

Hayden playing "Super Baby" with Daddy.
(How to make your baby a "Super Baby": Step 1: Turn bib around, Step 2: Hold baby in air, Step 3: Watch out for flying spit-up!)

Brian and I going for a little ride.

Golfing
Hayden went golfing for the first time with Dad, Uncle Blake, Aunt Megan, and Mom. We went to Sleepy Ridge Golf Course on Monday, April 13th. It was such a beautiful day. Hayden enjoyed the fresh air and bouncy feeling of the cart path while riding in his stroller.

Hayden and I enjoying the good weather.

Watching Dad from the side.
(Brian should have Hayden come more often, he's Good Luck - Brian won!)

Hayden and Brian enjoying their First (out of a future thousand) Golf Outing.

Hayden is growing up so fast.
I really can't blink or I'll miss something!

Happy Boy

Here's a clip of Hayden interacting and talking with me.
(You only need to watch the first half, the second half is not as exciting).

Hayden will smile and talk more when Brian is around, he loves his Daddy. Plus, I think he gets excited to see a new face since he is stuck with me all day.

Cousin Dinner

Aunt Kimmy hosted a Cousin Dinner the Sunday of Hayden's Baby Blessing so there was a huge turn out. Good thing she has a big, beautiful home.
Here are some photos from the dinner:
