Hogle Zoo

While Grandma and Grandpa were visiting we went to the ZOO!

Grandpa, Grandma, and Hayden
(Grandpa always complains that he never smiles for pictures; so I thought this picture was priceless. I don't know which one's better: not smiling OR SMILING!)

Hayden sees the Monkeys

Hayden and Grandma looking at the Elephants

Isn't the baby so dang cute?

Mom and Hayden sitting on a Fake Elephant Trunk,
that made elephant noises which sounded more like bodily functions.

Not only was there a Fake Elephant to Sit on, but also a Fake Bat Mobile.
How Lucky Were We?

(Now sitting on a Fake Bear)
Grandpa and Hayden riding the Carousel, which was Hayden's favorite experience!
He thought he was way too cool to even look at mom while riding.

Hayden and Grandpa observing the Birds, while holding their breath. It was the stinkiest place I've ever been. The smell about knocks you off your feet when you walk in. There should've been a CAUTION or HAZARD sign posted outside. (Don't be fooled by Grandpa's smile.)

Hayden, Grandpa, and Grandma posing by the giraffes.

Another picture on a fake animal. A Rhino this time.
During the winter, I bet the fake animals out-number the live ones.
Or maybe all the fake animals used to be alive but they froze during the harsh Utah winter, which seems like it's never going away!

Oh look, Hayden sitting on another fake, or frozen, animal.
("We have to stop by the Carrousel again, it's his favorite part." say's the ever indulging Grandma.)

And we finished the trip with a ride on the Hogle Zoo Choo-Choo Train.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for taking Hayden to the Zoo, for his very first time!
